Ferrari reveals new Amalfi: A sleeker Roma successor with 631-hp V8 punch

Ferrari has unveiled the Amalfi, a new entry-level supercar that replaces the Roma — and while it looks familiar, the changes under the skin are where things get exciting.

The design stays close to the Roma, especially from the rear, but the front bumper now features a blacked-out grille, giving it a sharper presence. Inside, dual dashboards separate the driver and passenger experience, with a cleaner, minimalist approach.

But the real story is under the hood. The Amalfi keeps Ferrari’s beloved V8, a reworked 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged unit that now makes 631 horsepower — nearly 20 more than the Roma — and revs higher.

At just 1,470kg, performance is razor-sharp:

  • 0–62mph in 3.3 seconds

  • 0–124mph in 9 seconds

  • Top speed: 200mph (320km/h)

Only available as a coupe for now, a convertible version is expected later.

Pricing hasn’t been confirmed globally, but the Amalfi costs €240,000 in Italy (~$280,000), nearly identical to the Roma.
